Stacy Pennington has extensive experience in community engagement and outreach, currently serving as the Senior Community Outreach Director at AARP since April 1989. In this role, Stacy plays a crucial part in coordinating and guiding state and community operations to achieve organizational strategic priorities. Previous roles include Interim Managing Director at AARP New Jersey, where Stacy developed a strategic plan for targeted community engagement, and Interim State Director at AARP Tennessee, managing the implementation of AARP's issue priorities. Stacy co-founded Gulf War Chemicals and served as Campaign Manager for Burnpits 360 from 2009 to 2019. Stacy's educational background includes a Certificate of Leadership in Middle Tennessee and an Associate of Science in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State College, alongside additional certificates in leadership and volunteer management.
