AARP Legislative Advocate

Ted Spickler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, consulting, and advocacy. Since January 2016, Ted has served as a Community Volunteer for Citizens' Climate Lobby, focusing on tacit knowledge management. In parallel, Ted has been an AARP Legislative Advocate since 2016 and has maintained a self-employed career as a Public Speaker since October 1985, specializing in climate change and the application of the unconscious mind to learning and problem-solving. Prior to retirement in 2009, Ted worked as a Consultant/Trainer and authored several works. Ted's earlier roles include Lean Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis Consultant at Bayer MaterialScience, and Manager of Business Excellence at Bayer Polymers LLC, providing vital training in these areas. Additionally, Ted served as an Associate Professor of Physics at West Liberty University for over 15 years, also holding the position of Chairman of the Physics Department. Ted's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Quantitative Methods of Educational Psychology from West Virginia University and multiple degrees in Physics from Xavier University and West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
