Doreen O'Donovan

Doreen O'Donovan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education, project management, and community service. Currently serving as President and Treasurer for AAUW Santa Cruz County since May 2021, Doreen has a strong focus on financial oversight and regulatory compliance for non-profits. As a mentor for high school students through Your Future Is Our Business and a leader in the Aptos/La Selva Community Emergency Response Team, Doreen actively engages in community development and education. Doreen also founded Makerspace Lab, an e-commerce platform for makerspace activities, and has held various project management and analytical roles at Cabrillo College and other organizations, emphasizing educational technology and strategy. Doreen's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Policy focused on education from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
