Peter Kerr

Peter Kerr is the current CFO at Aave. Prior to this, they were a Finance Change Manager at HSBC from December 2009 to December 2010. In this role, they were responsible for delivering two projects for Global Markets & Banking Business Financial Control. Peter was also appointed to deliver initiative standardising front to back reconciliations for HSBC’s London business and collaborated with PMs to communicate project issues and update sponsors on progress.

From November 2005 to December 2009, Kerr was the Finance Director - Credit Trading at the Royal Bank of Canada. And from December 2010 to July 2018, they were a Finance Consultant at Deutsche Bank.

Peter Kerr has a wide range of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Peter has a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accountancy) from Massey University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking from the same school. Peter is also certified by the Finance and Treasury Association as a Certified Finance and Treasury Professional (CFTP), and by the Financial Services Institute of Australasia as an F Fin. Additionally, they hold memberships with the Association of Corporate Treasurers, the Institute of Directors, and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
