Tia Van Buren has a diverse background in both behavioral health and cosmetology, currently serving as an Administrative Assistant and Behavioral Technician at ABA Pathways, LLC since August 2022. Tia's previous roles include Behavioral Health Technician at Ann Arbor Psych and Office Associate, along with experience as a Color Specialist at The Bearded Lady, where expertise in scheduling, payment, and accounting was developed. Tia's early career includes hairstyling at Curl Up & Dye, providing extensive hair treatments and attending professional development classes, as well as working as a Sales Associate at THRIFTY FLORIST, where excellent customer service and inventory management were key responsibilities. Tia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and an Associate's degree from Schoolcraft College, along with a Cosmetology License from David Pressley School of Cosmetology.

ABA Pathways brings an in depth understanding in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We conduct functional behavior assessments and develop data driven treatment programs. ABA Pathways goal is to establish appropriate behaviors and skills through motivating and meaningful behavior analytic sessions. We provide a continuum of services for clients from toddlers through adult. Our staff works within families’ homes and in the school setting.
