Alan Makerov

Alan Makerov has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Alan started their career as a Quality Engineer at Applied Materials in 1991, where they worked for three years before moving on to Seimens as an Industrial Engineer. After two years, they returned to Applied Materials as a Manufacturing Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Industrial Engineer. In 2000, they joined SBS Technologies, Inc. as an Applications Engineer, providing customer support for embedded products. SBS Technologies, Inc. was later acquired by GE Fanuc Embedded System. In 2007, Makerov joined GE Intelligent Platforms as an Applications Engineer, where they provided technical support. Alan then moved to Abaco Systems, Inc. in 2015, where they currently work as a HW Engineer Technical Support.

Alan Makerov attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering. Alan also attended DeAnza Junior College, where they studied Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician. The duration of their enrollment at DeAnza Junior College is not specified.
