Paul Batchelor

Paul Batchelor is a Member of Board of Directors at AbacusConsulting. In the past he has served as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was Global Geography Leader and Head of Global Strategy from 2000 to 2004. He also worked for Coopers & Lybrand, in different capacities, such as Executive Director, Head of Consulting in Europe and Chairman of the Worldwide Consulting Business and Deputy Head of UK Consulting. He spent his early career as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow and UNDP Economist in Swaziland and Malawi. He also worked as an economist and planner, and then as Chief Economist in the Malawi Government. Presently Paul is the Chairman of Crown Agents UK, Oxford Policy Management UK and International Advisory Councils of Transparency International. Paul went to the University of Cambridge where he developed his interest in geography and development economics.
