Christopher Steele

Christopher Steele is an experienced professional in the financial services and technology sectors, currently serving as the Managing Director of Product Management & Innovation at Abacus Group since January 2009. With a focus on providing hosted IT solutions for alternative investment firms, Christopher has developed the award-winning Abacus Cloud platform to meet industry-specific technology needs. Prior roles include Managing Director of Software Services at Round Table Investment Management Company and Software Product Manager at BlackRock Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed product management and client collaboration. Early career experience includes positions at Citco Fund Services, both as Systems Integration Manager and Hedge Fund Accounting Manager, and serving in the Royal Canadian Army Reserves as a Lieutenant. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Ottawa.
