Roger McCarrick

Roger McCarrick is a Senior Cloud Architect with extensive experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, and disaster recovery. Roger has worked at Abacus Group since 2022, where they are responsible for cloud architecture. Prior to that, they worked at Eze Castle Integration for over 18 years, holding various roles such as Senior Cloud Architect, Senior Network Engineer, Senior Disaster Recovery Network Engineer, and Network Engineer. In these roles, they managed private cloud infrastructure, installed and administered various systems and networking equipment, and provided disaster recovery services. Before their work at Eze Castle Integration, Roger worked at Joslin Diabetes Center as a DNA Core Lab Manager, responsible for managing and maintaining their Molecular Core Facility.

Roger McCarrick attended the University of Galway from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. Their areas of study included Zoology, Microbiology, and Genetics. In addition to their academic degree, Roger obtained certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Micosoftt.inc in October 2021 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in June 2022.
