Tom King

Tom King has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom is currently the Head of Business Development at Abatable since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at COMPAIR UK PVT LTD. as Business Development and Strategy from 2021 to December 2022. From 2020 to 2021, Tom was the Co-Founder of Rype, a tech-led food start-up. Tom also worked as a Senior Management Consultant at ?What If! Innovation (Part of Accenture) from 2019 to 2021. Before that, Tom was the Commercial & Partnerships Director & Board Member at Mubaloo, part of Interpublic Group, from 2015 to 2019. Tom has experience in business development, strategic management, and building partnerships with companies like Apple, McCann, PWC, and BT. Prior to that, they held roles in business development and investment analysis at Truphone and Pitt Capital Partners. In 2005, Tom worked as a Wildlife Conservationist at Eco Africa Experience.

Tom King obtained their Bachelor's Degree in BA Business Management (International) from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In 2007 to 2008, they also completed a placement year at the University of Newcastle, focusing on Management Studies (International). In 2015, Tom King obtained a certification in Digital Leadership Accelerator from Freeformers.
