Maureen Mao

Maureen Mao is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and human resources. Currently serving as the Business Development & Government Affairs Director at abat since March 2021, Maureen focuses on facilitating abat's entry into the China market, managing government relationships, and overseeing HR management. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Human Resources at AHK Greater China, where responsibilities encompassed HR consultancy and team management, as well as Sales Manager and Senior Consultant at MBtech Group GmbH / AKKA China, emphasizing recruitment and consultancy. Earlier career experiences include HR management at Environnement S.A, project coordination at ChangAn Visteon, and an assistant role at Lafarge Cement China. Academically, Maureen holds a postgraduate degree in HR Management & Applied Psychology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, alongside degrees in British & American Literature and Business English from Sichuan International Studies University.
