Akash Palanivelu

Akash Palanivelu is a Product Quality Engineer at ABB since January 2025, with a diverse background in product management and strategy consulting. Previous roles include Team Lead - Product Management at Kahana, Director of Events for the Johns Hopkins Product Management Club, and Graduate Assistant at the Alexander Glass Humanities Institute at Johns Hopkins University. Akash has contributed as a Strategy Consultant for NATO, analyzing dynamic wargames and identifying gaps for data-driven solutions. As Co-Founder and CEO of the digital health startup WatchDoc, Akash secured funding and recognition as a Hopstart Finalist. Further experience includes student strategy consultant roles at multiple organizations including Providence Digital Innovation Group and Johns Hopkins Hospital, and product management at Periofill.
