Ala Amr

Ala Amr is an experienced electrification director currently leading the Distribution Solutions division at ABB in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With a background that began in power generation at the Hussein Thermal Power Plant in Jordan, Ala transitioned to roles in mechanical maintenance and training at the National Electric Power Company and Sirte Oil Company. Ala later joined ABB, where responsibility expanded through various marketing and sales positions across the Middle East and North Africa, successfully managing extensive sales operations with significant P&L responsibilities. Ala holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Al-Jami'ah Al-Urdunia and a certificate in Strategic Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
