Chandan Kumar Sahu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, engineering design, and project leadership. Sahu served as a Research Assistant at Manufacturing and Design Lab (MADLab) from June 2018 to August 2020, focusing on physics-guided machine learning and augmented reality systems, contributing to significant publications. A Summer Intern at Bajaj Auto Ltd in May 2013, Sahu designed a tool that improved process efficiency. Currently, as a Researcher at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research and a Research Scientist for GenAI and Agentic Systems at ABB, Sahu utilizes advanced technologies, including natural language processing and machine learning, to enhance product development and engineering design. Sahu's previous role as Project Leader at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. involved leading new model development and regulatory compliance initiatives for multiple motorcycle products. Sahu holds a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, a Master of Science from the University at Buffalo, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at Clemson University.
