Chris Layton

Chris Layton is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing and electrical engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at ABB since February 2018, Chris previously held positions as an Electrical Engineer at Baker Hughes, a GE company, from December 2011 to October 2017, where responsibilities included leading projects for downhole motor connection systems. Prior to that, Chris worked as a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer at Siemens for over a decade, managing bid proposals and electrical documentation for large-scale mail processing machinery projects while adhering to budget and schedule constraints. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oklahoma State University, earned between 1990 and 1995.
