Dave Polka

Dave Polka is a Principal Technical Instructor at ABB Inc.’s Robotics and Motion division in New Berlin, Wisconsin, where they have devoted their career to training in electronics and motor speed control for over 35 years. They are responsible for conducting classes on drive applications, programming, and maintenance for sales partners and customers. Dave graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor of science degree in industrial education, emphasizing electronics and controls. Prior to their current role, they taught industrial education at Homestead High School and worked at Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley Drives Division as a training supervisor, instructor, and technical writer.
