Derek Smith is a seasoned electrical and electronics engineer with extensive experience in control systems and high and low voltage applications. With a Bachelor of Engineering from CQUniversity and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Aegis Training Services, Derek has held positions as Drives and Control Engineer and Senior Drives and Controls Engineer at GE from July 2003 to June 2011, and currently serves as Senior Drive and Electrical Engineer at ABB since July 2018.
