Dörte Thinius is currently the Head of Product Design at Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH, a position held since 2012, and also serves as the Head of Product Design at ABB ELSB BHAS since 2022. Dörte completed a Diplom in Industrial Design at Bergische Universität Wuppertal from 2003 to 2008.
