Elise Thorud

Elise Thorud has extensive experience at ABB, having served in various roles since 1989, currently as Global Product Manager for Simulation & Digital Twin since 1997. This role involves scaling enterprise solutions within the Energy Industries sector. Thorud has managed the Simulator portfolio, leading responsibilities for products such as the 800xA Simulator and other simulation models. Previous positions included Sales Manager and Product Manager for simulation systems targeting the Oil and Gas and Petrochemicals sectors, and leadership roles in information management system projects. Thorud's early career included advising on Fisheries Information Management Systems and project engineering focused on process control systems. Thorud holds a Master's degree in Information Technology and Informatics from the University of Oslo.
