Frederic Pelletier

Frederic Pelletier is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in business development and engineering. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at ABB since January 2025 and as President and CEO of Ursa Major Navigation since April 2018, Pelletier previously held key roles including Chief Scientist for Space Situational Awareness and Technical Director at NorthStar Earth & Space Inc., and Navigateur Interplanétaire at KinetX Aerospace, Inc. Notable contributions include leading a team at Jet Propulsion Laboratory for orbit determination of the Cassini spacecraft and developing a simulator for autonomous guidance in spacecraft rendezvous at the Canadian Space Agency. Pelletier holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval.
