Hans Pfitzer is an experienced technology and engineering leader with a strong background in power solutions. Currently serving as the Global Technology Manager at ABB since April 2012, Pfitzer oversees R&D and technology development for UPS battery backup systems, Static Transfer Switches, and data center distribution and metering. Previously, Pfitzer held several key positions at Thomas & Betts Power Solutions, including General Manager and VP of Engineering, and gained extensive experience as the Director of Engineering at Thomas & Betts. Prior roles include Electrical Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer at Eaton Electrical, where innovative design approaches were developed for UPS products. Pfitzer began a career in engineering at ADC Telecommunications as Engineer II. Academic credentials include an MBA in Marketing Management from North Carolina State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University.
