Jeb Shookman

Jeb Shookman is an accomplished legal and technical professional with extensive experience in intellectual property (IP) management and strategy. As the Vice President and Head of IP for the US at ABB since June 2018, Jeb has served as the primary legal contact for the Robotics and Motion Division, overseeing complex commercial transactions and providing counsel on various IP and technology matters. Prior experience includes roles as IP Director at Micro Focus, where Jeb managed IP strategy, and Patent Development Director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, focusing on patent portfolio development. Early career experiences include serving as an Intellectual Property Attorney at McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd., and as a Computer Engineer at IBM. Jeb holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.S. in Computer Engineering with a second major in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
