Karl Pointon is a seasoned HR leader with over 28 years of experience across various industries including Corporate, Supply Chain/Logistics, FMCG, Energy, Manufacturing, Mining, and Heavy Industrial sectors. They served as the Country HR Lead & BP at ABB since 2022, where they partner with managers to develop and implement people strategies and lead Collective Bargaining and Employment Relations. Prior to this, Karl held significant HR roles at companies such as DHL Supply Chain, Tasti Products Limited, and Fulton Hogan, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and industrial relations. They obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Employment Relations and a Graduate Diploma in Business, Human Resources from The University of Auckland.
