Lars Edvardsen is currently an R&D Senior Engineer at ABB, where they design advanced electrical solutions such as the 36kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker and the 36kV Cable Compartment Arc Suppressor. Previously, Lars was a Project Development Engineer at both Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS, focusing on space-related mechanisms, and Jotron Group, specializing in maritime emergency equipment. From 2007 to 2014, Lars founded and led Intentium, an engineering company dedicated to sustainable energy through offshore wave power solutions. Lars holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Design and Fluid Dynamics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and an engineering degree in Mechanical Design and Energy Technology from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
