Marcin Szlosek, PhD, MBA, currently serves as a member of the Committee on Electrical Engineering, Section of Power Electronics and Electric Drive at Polska Akademia Nauk since October 2024. Additionally, Marcin occupies the role of Global Technology Manager for Metals and Power Conversion at ABB since December 2025 and leads a working group within the National Smart Specializations KIS4 as chair since July 2017. Previous positions at ABB include R&D Department Manager and Group Leader - PhD Scientist from September 2019 to December 2025. Marcin holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza im. Stanislawa Staszica w Krakowie (2002-2009) and an MBA from Krakowska Szkoła Biznesu UEK (2017-2019) along with postgraduate studies in Business Psychology (2024-2025).
