Mate Jelavić

Mate Jelavić is a seasoned professional in electrical engineering, having earned both a Bachelor's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb. From 2003 to 2009, they worked as a research assistant, contributing to various projects, including the European FP7 project focused on large-scale offshore wind farms. Following this, Mate held roles as a project manager and R&D coordinator at KONČAR, where they led significant projects such as wind turbine control systems. Most recently, they serve as the Local Division R&D and PE&Q manager for General Performance Drives at ABB, overseeing a large team and managing an extensive project portfolio.
