Mathias Annen

Mathias Annen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain engineering and quality management, currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain Engineering & Quality Division Traction at ABB since August 2008. In this role, Mathias leads a cross-functional team of 11 employees, overseeing PCBA Component Engineering, New Product Introduction, Test Engineering, and Supplier Quality across all material categories, while also managing Material Compliance and Supplier Quality at a global level. Prior to this, Mathias held multiple leadership positions within ABB, including Head of Production Engineering and Local R&D Team Leader, and gained foundational experience as a Production Engineer at Schneider Electric from 2004 to 2008. Mathias holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Management from ETH Zürich, completed in 2004.
