Matthias Biskoping

Matthias Biskoping is currently the Research Team Manager for Optimization and Control at ABB, where they focus on Power Systems, Grid Services, and DC Grids. They previously worked as a Senior Scientist at ABB, contributing to projects involving Power Electronic Converters. Prior to that, Matthias was a Research Associate and Group Leader in Power Electronics at RWTH Aachen University, where they led negotiations with industrial partners and managed projects. Their earlier role as a Hardware Developer at AixControl GmbH involved PCB design and programming in VHDL and C++. Matthias continues to pursue advanced degrees at multiple institutions, including a Dr. Ing. at RWTH Aachen University.
