Meirion Buck

Meirion Buck is currently the Global R&D Manager at ABB Installation Products, bringing over 40 years of experience in mechanical and production engineering. They began their career as an engineering apprentice at an engineering ceramics manufacturer and earned a higher national diploma in mechanical and production engineering in 1982. Meirion subsequently developed their expertise through roles as a design engineer and manager in various companies, including Adaptaflex and IMI Cornelius, where they led multiple innovative product designs. In 1990, they completed a BSc with honours in Product Design and Material Science from The Open University. Throughout their career, Meirion has demonstrated strong skills in polymer science, engineering management, and computer-aided design, focusing on mechanical engineering design and materials.
