Mikko Katainen

Mikko Katainen is a Test Field Manager and Operation Manager of Electrical Equipment at ABB Marine in Helsinki and Hamina, with over eight years of experience in the electrical machines and marine industry. Mikko has a background in testing and supervising Azipod® propulsion motors, as well as managing electrical networks and consulting on technical matters. Previously, Mikko worked as a Testing Engineer at ABB and held summer trainee positions at Cargotec Corporation and Valmet Automotive. Mikko is currently pursuing further education at Nanyang Technological University in Power Electronics, alongside a Master's degree in the same field.
