Ognjen Stanojev

Ognjen Stanojev is a PhD candidate specializing in Power Engineering and Microgrids at ETH Zürich, where they also serve as a research assistant and teaching assistant. They have contributed to several projects, including analyzing hybrid HVAC/HVDC transmission lines and working on stability of low-inertia systems. Previously, they were a research affiliate at Berkeley Lab and Caltech, focusing on model predictive control and system identification. Currently, Ognjen is a scientist on the Power Electronic Systems Team at ABB, leveraging their extensive background in control and optimization. Their academic journey includes a Master of Science from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor of Science in Power Systems from the University of Novi Sad.
