Osama Abbas, MBA, PMP®, FE, LSSYB, SFC, currently serves as the Electrification Products Marketing Leader at ABB, responsible for managing sales and marketing activities for the ABB Digital Control and Protection business across Gulf countries since May 2015. Previously, Osama Abbas worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Maersk Drilling for a brief period in early 2014 and held the position of Junior Electrical Engineer, focusing on maintenance and repair of onboard electrical systems. In December 2013, Osama Abbas completed a Creativity and Innovation Module with DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, honing skills in innovative thinking and planning. Additionally, Osama Abbas attended awareness sessions with Schneider Electric, ABB, and Siemens between February 2012 and June 2013 to stay informed about global electrical engineering trends, including advancements in smart grids and renewable energy. Osama Abbas is currently pursuing leadership education at Harvard Business School and holds an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, completed in 2019.
