Randy Smith

Randy Smith is an experienced professional in the data center industry with a robust background in sales and engineering. They currently serve as the Data Center Automation lead at ABB, following previous roles in the company as an Account Manager and a Territory Sales Manager. Prior to their time at ABB, Randy worked at Rockwell Automation from 2008 to 2011, holding several key positions including Solution Architect and Power Control Area Manager, where they developed sales strategies and managed significant customer relationships. Randy also spent nearly a decade at Turmatic Systems Inc. as the Chief Electrical Engineer, overseeing a design team for custom rotary transfer machine tools. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science Information Systems from Maryville University of Saint Louis and have a foundational education in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
