Raul Poveda

Raul Poveda has an extensive background in management and engineering within various industries, currently serving as Local Division Manager for Measurement & Analytics and Local Business Unit Manager for Motors and Generators at ABB since May 2011. Raul oversees the electric motor manufacturing facility in Barcelona and manages the repair center for motors and generators in Madrid. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager for Gate Gourmet Spain, where coordination of all functional departments and operational strategy development were key responsibilities. Raul also held positions at Schott Travisa S.A., starting as Production Manager and progressing to Plant Manager, where leadership in resource management and Lean Manufacturing implementation was emphasized. Raul holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Senior Executive Program from Esade and a Master's in Production Organization from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
