Ruomu Tan

Ruomu Tan is a Research Team Manager in Industrial AI and the Technology Area Coordinator for AI at ABB, where they also serve as a Talent Ambassador. Ruomu has previously held roles as an Advanced Process Control Consultant at Syncrude Canada Ltd. and Suncor Energy, and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alberta. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Process Systems Engineering from Imperial College London, as well as a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Zhejiang University. Throughout their career, Ruomu has contributed to significant research initiatives, holding positions as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher at Cranfield University and Imperial College London.
