Sakura Attanayake

Sakura Attanayake is an International Professional Engineer currently serving as a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer at ABB Norway. Previously, they worked as a Class I Electrical Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board, where they held various significant roles, including Project Director for the SCADA ADMS project. Sakura earned a BSc (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and an MSc in Electronics & Automation from the University of Moratuwa, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Stavanger. With expertise in electrical system design, artificial intelligence, and project management, they have demonstrated strong leadership and analytical skills throughout their career. Additionally, Sakura is a member of professional organizations including IEEE, PMI, and RMIA.
