Sergio Favela

Sergio Favela is an Engineering Manager currently leading a group of over 40 engineers and 3 engineering coordinators, overseeing three product lines generating more than 100 million USD in revenue. They previously worked as a Mechanical Coordinator at ABB, where they led a team that doubled revenue in two years, and as an Engineer 1 at GE Aviation, where they developed a new analysis method that resulted in significant savings. Sergio earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Control Theory from KAUST. Early in their career, they contributed to various engineering roles, including as a researcher and junior engineer, gaining valuable experience in collaborative problem-solving and innovative design.
