Sofie Nilsson

Sofie Nilsson is an accomplished project engineer currently working at ABB since April 2025. Prior to this role, Sofie held various engineering positions at Scania Group, serving as a software engineer and team leader consultant, where responsibilities included setting up delivery processes and stakeholder communication as well as developing a new diagnostics platform for vehicle troubleshooting. Sofie’s experience also encompasses a mechatronics consultancy position at Sigma Industry, a master thesis project at ABB recognized for excellence in automation, and internships in automation engineering, sales, and logistics across multiple companies including Northvolt, AR Packaging, A&R Carton, and AkzoNobel. Sofie holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
