Su Zhao

Su Zhao is a Senior Principal Scientist and Technology Area Coordinator for Materials & Manufacturing at ABB, where they monitor technology trends and facilitate knowledge sharing within the R&D organization. They previously held roles as a Scientist and Principal Scientist at ABB, focusing on materials technology for engineering surfaces and electrification. Su completed a Ph.D. in Materials Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science from Tsinghua University. Prior to their current role, Su was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
