Tim Hornby is an accomplished engineer and director with extensive experience in commissioning and technical operations within the power and engineering sectors. Since October 2010, Tim has served as a Director and Advanced TP141 Commissioning Engineer at GTR Transmission & Protection Solutions Ltd. Simultaneously, Tim has held the position of Director of Technical Operations at Midmar Power Systems since October 2014, focusing on design and manufacturing for renewable power installations. As CEO of HvM Transmission Engineering, launched in 2007, Tim has facilitated project coordination and onsite commissioning across West and Central Africa. Tim's career also includes a substantial role as Lead Commissioning Engineer at ABB, overseeing high-profile commissioning projects for the National Grid in the UK since 2001. Previous experience includes key commissioning roles at Alstom Power and involvement in the South West Alliance's Uskmouth Power Station project.
