Tim Skell

Tim Skell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in HVAC application engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Global HVACR Application Engineering Manager at ABB since September 2011, Tim manages a customer-focused team of technical experts and is recognized for leading premier HVAC VFD Application Engineers. Previous positions at ABB include HVAC Application Engineering Manager, Lead Application Engineer, and HVAC Senior Regional Application Engineer, where expertise in standard and engineered solutions for HVAC VFDs was honed. Additionally, Tim contributes to the BACnet Marketing Committee and has held roles at Eaton Corporation and Minarik Drives, focusing on adjustable frequency drives and application engineering. Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Tim holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with dual emphases in Controls and Power.
