王建平Wang Jianping

Wang Jianping is a Senior Principal Scientist at Hitachi Energy, where they focus on power system protection applications. With over twenty-five years of experience in both practical applications and research development, they have held various roles, including Development Engineer at ABB and Technical Manager at ABB China Substation Automation Unit. Wang's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Power System Automation from Université de Mons-Hainaut and a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Power Supply for Railways from Southwest Jiaotong University, where they also served as an Associate Professor. They are passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers and engaging in technical management within the power system protection domain.
