Wenjing Wei currently serves as the Global Sustainability Portfolio Manager at ABB, focusing on the development of a sustainable portfolio for Metal Industries since February 2024. Prior to this role, Wenjing Wei worked at Kobolde & Partners AB for a decade, initially as a Project Manager and Researcher specializing in process modeling for metallurgy and leading projects aimed at decarbonizing the iron and steelmaking processes, while also fulfilling product ownership and Scrum master responsibilities. Additional experience includes positions as a Research Engineer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where a feasibility study on biomass use in blast furnaces was conducted, and a project engineer during a master's thesis at Gränges AB, analyzing energy efficiency and CO2 emissions in secondary aluminum production. Wenjing Wei holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and a Master of Science in the same field from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
