Abbey Commercial Flooring was founded over 30 years ago. We are one of the largest commercial flooring dealers in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. We work with general contractors, end-users and architects to furnish and install projects of all sizes and types.

Our founder, Shiva Etessam, began Abbey as a residential flooring company. We have grown over the decades to be able to provide flooring services to the commercial sector as well. We are certified by the federal government as a Small Woman Owned Business (SWOB) and by Virginia as a Small Woman and Minority (SWaM) owned business. We specialize in a wide array of sectors including, but not limited to, corporate interiors, healthcare, base building, law, institutional, and government projects.

We have the ability to install carpet tile, broadloom carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood, concrete prep, concrete polishing, sheet vinyl, rubber flooring, specialty flooring, luxury vinyl tile and more. If you can put in on the floor, chances are we know how to help.
