Robert Baer

Robert Baer, CPA, CFS has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert started their career at Florsheim Shoes as a Supervisor in Retail Cash Control. Robert then moved on to Trainco Inc, where they served as the Director of Accounting. After that, they became a Director and Treasurer at the Mid-West Fastener Association for three years. Robert also served as a Board Member for the Fastener Industry Coalition (FIC) and the Fastener Training Institute. Additionally, Robert worked at Abbott Interfast for over 25 years, initially as the Vice President and later as the President/CEO. Robert is known for their dedication and commitment to the fastener industry, as demonstrated by their involvement in various organizations such as the MWFA and the FIC.

Robert Baer, CPA, CFS received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting, with a focus on CPA, from DePaul University in 1986. In 2016, they obtained a certification as a Certified Fastener Specialist from the Fastener Training Institute. Robert is also a Certified Public Accountant.
