Aaron Shao currently serves as the Head of Legal for the Asia Pacific region at Abbott, where they lead the legal function across various business divisions in over 15 countries. Prior to this role, Aaron was the Regional General Counsel for APAC at a US-based Fortune 500 company for over five years and has gathered extensive experience in private practice at leading international law firms, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate matters. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Law from Shanghai International Studies University, a Master of Laws from Columbia University, and an MBA from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, along with completing an EMBA program at Fudan University. Additionally, Aaron is qualified to practice law in both the PRC and New York and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
