Allison Connolly

Allison Connolly, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the biomedical engineering field with significant experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as Director at Abbott since November 2015, Allison has led portfolios in both Heart Failure and Neuromodulation businesses, emphasizing the implementation of real-world evidence to support regulatory, reimbursement, and clinical applications. Previous roles at Abbott include Associate Director and Senior Clinical Scientist, focusing on outcomes research and health economic modeling in cardiac rhythm management. Allison's foundational work includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Southern California, where closed-loop neuromodulation systems were designed, and a graduate internship at Medtronic developing machine learning algorithms.
