Amee Van

Amee Van is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at USC Women in Science and Engineering and a Vice President of Finance and Communications at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, Amee has acquired extensive experience in researching ultrasound imaging and developing assistive technologies. Previous roles include a Robotic Arm Team Member at 3D4E USC, designing a commercial pulse oximeter at MEDesign, and leading various initiatives within student organizations such as the USC Society of Women Engineers and TOM Tikkun Olam Makers. Amee has also gained valuable experience in customer service as a Barista and has participated in clinical settings, including shadowing in ophthalmology and working as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. Amee's commitment to integrating engineering solutions with social impact is further exemplified through involvement in organizations focused on community health and awareness projects.
