Andrew O'Brien

Andrew O'Brien is a seasoned IT leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation across prominent healthcare companies. At Abbott, as a Senior IT Leader, Andrew was pivotal in developing a three-year IT strategy that guided a $13M technology spend while enhancing processes and talent development. Previously at Medtronic, Andrew held multiple vice president roles, including overseeing IT management operations and leading digital business initiatives, where Andrew successfully established IT strategies and operational models. Andrew's background also includes positions at St. Jude Medical and Carlson Companies, where Andrew focused on information security and IT auditing. Andrew holds an MBA in Information Systems and E-Business from the UMN Carlson School of Management and a BA in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
