Anthony Chern

Anthony Chern is a mechanical engineer specializing in medical devices, consumer electronics, and mechatronics. They currently serve as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Abbott Diabetes Care since 2018, following roles at Acorn Product Development, Applied Medical, and Novasentis, where they contributed to product development and manufacturing processes. Anthony began their career as a Research Assistant at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on battery materials, and later worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Leyden Energy, where they designed and fabricated test instruments. They hold dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
